The family Influence on the formation of a child

A family is a special social environment. There are rules and norms of behavior, there may be a hierarchy within the family, child finds their first role models, sees the first people’s reactions to their actions. Not having any social or personal experience, the child is unable to assess either their behavior or the existence of personal qualities of others. Nowadays more and more scientists, teachers, psychologists admit that all that is in the child – both good and bad – he takes from childhood. The child will grow, and formed his personality, moral values, moral standards will remain. They will be guided by an adult, going through the journey of life, sometimes making hard choices. The impressions received in childhood, sometimes further define the work of man, his way of life after the family transmits and cultural traditions, the experience of predecessors, which were developed over many years.

The family influence on the formation of a child is recognized by many educators, psychologists, psychotherapists, Psychoneurology. The problems of the family and family education interested people since ancient times. In the writings of the great thinkers of the past: Plato, Aristotle, J. A. Comenius, Jean-Jacques Rousseau – we find their attitude to the family as a factor of education, evaluation of its role in the formation and future of every person’s life. In Russia this problem did such eminent scientists as N. And. Novikov, A. N. Radishchev, V. F. Odoevsky, A. I. Herzen, N. And. Pirogov, N. And. Bowker, D. K. Ushinsky, T. F. Lesgaft, L. N. Tolstoy, A. S. Makarenko, V. A. Sukhomlinsky.

Family characteristics, family education, peculiarities of formation of the personality of the child in the family was studied by Yu P. Azarov, D. N. Dobrovic, A. I. Zakharov, S. A. Spivakovsky, A. Varga, E. G. Eidemiller, J. Gippenreiter, M. Buyanov, 3. Matejcik, S. V. Kovalev, N. In. Bondarenko and others.

A huge contribution to the study of family relations introduced by A. S. Makarenko, who developed the critical issues of family education. In the Book for parents it shows that the family is the primary group of people who are full members with their roles and responsibilities, including child.

In this paper, we highlighted some of the aspects of the problem, because the establishment of harmonious relations, a safe, caring and comfortable climate in the family should be the first task of the parents, because without this it’s impossible to form a healthy personality of the child. Variations in family relations negatively affect the development of child’s personality, his character, self-esteem and other mental qualities; these children may experience various problems: a state of heightened anxiety, worsening school performance, difficulties in communication and many others.

The object of study: the personality of the younger school student in the family.

Object: the process of identity formation in the family.

The aim is: the study of family influence on personality development.

Accordingly the following objectives:

. To characterize the concepts and functions of the family.

. To examine the effect of family education on the formation of personality.

. Pick up techniques and experimentally show the influence of parents on the formation of child’s personality.

The hypothesis is that family plays a huge role in shaping the child’s personality.

The study used the following methods:

theoretical study of the psychological, pedagogical, sociological literature on the topic of the course work;

the study was conducted using the following methods: survey method; test pattern; a test questionnaire parental relationship (A. Varga, V. V. Stolin).

The work consists of introduction, two parts, conclusion, list of references and applications.
